Ryan Davenport

A Winston-Salem native, Ryan Davenport brings creativity, empathy, and integrity to his role as a Financial Advisor at JT Stratford. Now in his second year with the firm, he is apprenticing under his father, James Davenport, who has spent over 35 years helping clients navigate their financial lives with confidence and care.

Before entering finance, Ryan spent many years as a film actor—an experience that deepened his appreciation for storytelling, discipline, and human connection. He carries that authenticity into his advisory work, valuing honesty, transparency, and a consistent commitment to each client’s goals.

Ryan approaches every relationship with long-term trust and precision, ensuring that each account is managed with thorough attention and open communication. Learning daily from his father’s decades of wisdom, he is building a career dedicated to guiding families and individuals toward financial clarity and lasting impact.

Outside of finance, Ryan is a passionate creative and is currently writing his first novel.
